Lumix 2 (not my pic but lord it's huge!)

I love my NIKON D60. No doubt. But for a long time now, I've longed not to have to lug the inconspicuous thing with me whenever I want to document any event which requires me to leave my apartment! I longed for the anonymity of my little point and shoot but my old Nikon Coolpix died on me months ago after putting in quite a lot of years. I loved that camera.
However, since my dad recently bought his second Lumix, he's giving me his old one (not that old, barely a year) and dropping it off at my apt today. WHOOHOO!! I can't wait!
I really think hauling around the D60 has impeded the nature of my photo output a bit. I have to make room for it in my bag and it's expensive so I have to be careful with it, careful not to expose it everywhere. It's just exhausting. Now I can just snap at will again and save the D60 for specific projects where I need to mess with aperture and shutter priority and stuff like that. This will also be my first ever non-Nikon camera.
It is a Panasonic Leica hybrid, a combination of Leica-branded optical zoom lens and Panasonic's signature Optical Image Stabilization. I'm fucking psyched!!
