First Two Prints Sold

First Two Prints Sold

I did a talk for a Faculty Series at my job several months ago, where I made a power point presentation of some of my best photographic work for staff and talked about my influences and inspirations to staff and some students. It was broken up into elements that I most like to observe like shadows, light, water, like that.

One of my friends and co-workers (she's my mentor as well) wanted to buy these two. The one on the left is actually of a Nancy Rubin piece at the MOMA that she wanted me to take for her during our last visit there together last summer.

The one on the right is one i took about year ago when I was taking my first digital photography class at Cooper Union.

I sold two 11x17 prints of them to my friend yesterday. I was glad that she was happy with them because she'd been on me for literally months about getting them done. I guess I really don't take myself very seriously as a potentially working photographer. I just know that I like taking pictures.
