True Blood Season 2 just keeps getting better and better! How is it that Alan Ball comes up with the most unexpected and creative ways to interpret common life lessons and experiences?
The scene where the chick who Bill made into a Vampire meets the young sweet guy in Merlott's bar just gave me the chills. So much happens in the space of like 3 minutes! You see her lusting after his blood then realizing that he genuinely likes then she fesses up to being a vampire by ordering True Blood when he asks her what she would like. And then when he smiles in awe instead of recoiling in anger and disgust she lights up like a bulb! I just love that! Because it implicates all that is still human in her, fear of rejection, loneliness and insecurity even though she is now immortal.
